Kenneth O’Meara won the Singer-Songwriter Showdown hosted by the Blue Light Live.

Kenneth O’Meara was the winner of The Blue Light Live / True Country Lubbock Spring Singer-Songwriter Showdown and as such, he was awarded radio airplay of a single and production of an EP.

For months, Charlie Shafter and the Gnomes dreamed of recording a live CD at The Blue Light in Lubbock, Texas.  Sixgun Studios founder and creative director Charlie Stout produced the CD with input from everyone in the band and a representative of the record label – handling the mixing, editing, mastering, photography, and artwork.  Engineer [...]

For months, Charlie Shafter and the Gnomes dreamed of recording a live CD at The Blue Light in Lubbock, Texas.  Sixgun Studios founder and creative director Charlie Stout produced the CD with input from everyone in the band and a representative of the record label – handling the mixing, editing, mastering, photography, and artwork.  Engineer Trevor Babbitt (a graduate of South Plains College) was hired to manage microphone choice and placement during the recording of the show.
