For months, Charlie Shafter and the Gnomes dreamed of recording a live CD at The Blue Light in Lubbock, Texas.  Sixgun Studios founder and creative director Charlie Stout produced the CD with input from everyone in the band and a representative of the record label – handling the mixing, editing, mastering, photography, and artwork.  Engineer Trevor Babbitt (a graduate of South Plains College) was hired to manage microphone choice and placement during the recording of the show.
